Newcastle Video Company offers a range of videography and video production services across the North East and beyond. On the corporate side, we’ll cover events, internal comms video messaging and promotional videos for websites and social media. I am also a commercial drone operator – licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority – offering aerial photography and filming services to media, production companies, estate agents and property developers.
A bit about me… after graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in communications and media, I trained as a journalist with the Press Association before working for Sky, ITV and the Newcastle Chronicle, shooting and editing my own content. I then spent two years as a government press officer and now run a team of video producers at the same government department.
So I’m not just a camera operator; I’m an experienced comms professional who understands how to craft internal and external messages that resonate with the right audiences.
I generally work alone on most projects, although I have a trusted network of professional videographers who can help with larger commissions.
I began trading as Newcastle Video Company as a sole trader in 2016 and in 2022 I registered as a Ltd Company.

I generally shoot with Sony A7 series cameras with a range of professional Sony G Master and Zeiss lenses, lighting and microphones to cover all situations. Further kit includes a gimbal (or ‘stabiliser’), slider, GoPro cameras and drone.
