I’ve produced a wide range of internal and external comms products including case studies, training products and social media content. I also cover conferences and events.
I love nothing more than featuring ‘real’ people in my content. I have a pretty good knack of finding a story in whatever I shoot and making it all come together in the edit.
My clients include Netflix, Greggs, Marks & Spencer and Sky.
No.
I’m an experienced and qualified comms professional. I worked as a videographer and broadcast journalist for both ITV and Sky before becoming a government press officer. I went on to manage an internal comms team and then lead a team of video producers creating internal and external comms and marketing content for a large government department. So I’m really well-placed to advise on video messaging and target audiences.
I operate Sony A7 series mirrorless cameras with a range of professional G Master and Zeiss lenses, microphones and lights. For more specialist requirements, my kit includes a drone (I’m a licensed commercial drone operator), autocue, gimbal (or ‘stabiliser’), motorised slider and GoPro cameras.
I provide corporate video production and event videography services in Newcastle and across the North East, including Sunderland, Durham and Middlesbrough. I’ll of course travel further, including Cumbria, North Yorkshire and Scotland – or further for large projects!
Each job is different. I need to factor in time spent preparing for a shoot, including planning, consultation, kit preparation and travel. More complex shoots that require additional equipment and multiple cameras will incur a supplement. But as a ballpark for basic videography:
Videography day rate (up to eight hours on site): £500
Half day (up to four hours on site, minimum charge): £300
Editing: £300/day or £40.00/hour
Every video project is of course different, and so is the cost. For example, drone footage will incur an extra fee (I am a licensed commercial drone operator), as will a corporate music licence.
